Dr. Chandra Kanta Gyawali - Secretary
LL.M. and Ph.D. in Constitutional Law, MA in Political Science and Anthropology , Advocate, Supreme Court of Nepal since 1991; Lecturer, Master Degree Programs, Department of Anthropology (T.U.) since 1997); President, Constitutional Lawyers Forum; President, Civil Liberty, Member of Nepal Bar Association and Supreme Court Bar Association. He had made presentation at University of Vienna (Austria); participated in more than 300 national and international forums; visited China, India, Austria, Germany, Slovakia and Hungary; working as constitutional expert and socio-legal consultant; researcher in UNDP and UNICEF as well as various national and international organizations. He has written two dozen books including Nepalese Constitutional Law; People Sovereignty and Constitutionalism; Federal System of Government and Restructuring of the State; Constitution, Constitutionalism, Constituent Assembly and Restructuring of Nepal; He is one of the authors of Nationality, Equality Statelessness on Citizenship (UNICEF, 2011; Awarded Nepal Vidya Bhushan I and Excellent Law Award; Co-author of Federalism in the World (2010); a study of federalism in twenty six countries, and written more than 400 articles for various journals and newspapers.
