Dr. Bishnu Dev Pant
PhD, Indian Statistical Institute, India; Over 35 years of national and international work experience; Began professional career at the Agricultural Projects Services (APROSC) in 1977; Served at National Planning Commission (NPC) during 1984-85; Worked at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP) in Bangkok and Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Manila in different capacities; After taking retirement from the ADB in July 2008 worked as a Professor at the South Asian Institute of Management (SAIM) in Kathmandu. Since mid 2010 served as Executive Director of the Institute for Integrated Development Studies (IIDS) until the end of 2019. Since then has been a freelancer and also been teaching at SAIM on a part time basis.
